The key thing is to focus on disenchanting. Find any low-level green items and then take these and disenchant them to create your basic enchanting materials things like Lesser Astral Essence or Strange Dust. You can buy some green armor for around the 5 silver mark, disenchant the armor to its basic elements and take these elements down to the Auction house and put them up for sale for around 20 silver and yet again you will have plenty of eager buyers.

I hope these quick tips helped tell you how to Get World of Warcraft Gold and as mentioned before I do suggest reading a good guide that can tell you Get World of Warcraft Gold as you will earn far more and most tell you exactly what to do! |
Head to the Eastern Plaguelands and to the southwest corner of the region. Here you'll find the Undercroft and Mossflayer Zombies. The Mossflayer Zombies are fairly easy to kill, but more importantly they return quickly and drop all sorts of silver and Runecloth. With quick respawn and decent drops this is a great place to farm if you can get it to yourself. Another great mob in the Plaguelands is the Plaguebat. This creature drops lots of Vendor trash of its own which sells fairly well. |
With the introduction of new content and the free availability of reputation items, grinding is a great way to make money as well, as it has always been. Because most people don't have the time and energy to farm and find those items, you can do it yourself and make large sums of money from the new Aldor and Scryer items filling up the world. |
I asked him where he learnt those strategies and he said that he'd bought a gold guide and that he would never even consider buying gold from the Chinese farmers. The cool thing is that he wasn't using a fancy auction house strategy, he was grinding it out. He found a spot in burning crusade that had humanoids that respawned fast and he really worked them. His character was at level 10 and he was really on his way to wealth. |
When at low levels don't bother wasting money on items unless you are flush. They quickly level out and you will need more. Between level 1-40 characters are not gear dependent anyhow. Completing quests will get you all the nice gear that you need. |
Frequently Paladins are considered a support class because they are so helpful to other members of your party as healers or in the middle of a melee. If you prefer to do more solo adventuring, then you'll want to spec your Paladin for Retribution. I would say though that if you want to spend most of your time going solo, you probably want a different character class because the Paladin really excels in groups. On the other hand, for leveling, the best builds for the Paladin are probably the Retribution build or Protection build. The Paladin never was the fastest leveler, but is a bit more comparable to other classes now. Still, if you want to gain an edge and increase your leveling speed, a leveling guide for either Alliance or Horde will certainly help you pick that pace up considerably. |
Winterspring - At the point (58,50) you can find mobs such as Cobalt Mageweavers or Cobalt Wyrmkins. I recommend farming this area because these guys have a sometimes drop Mature Blue Dragon Sinew. They're dropped once per thousand kills which is a pretty low drop rate but thats because Mature Blue Dragon Sinew can be sold for several hundred gold. Cobalt Mageweavers also drop a recipe for Greater Arcane Protection Potion. This is a solid item to collect because guilds need this potion for AQ. |
There are actually a few great places to farm in Winterspring. One such area is in (67,40) where you can farm Ice Thistle Yetis. If you are a skinner, I highly recommend checking this area out because you can skin the Ice Thistle Yetis for their rugged and thick leather. This would be an addition to the vendor trash and green items they drop. |
Although farming and the auction house can be great ways on how to make gold in world of warcraft, I have to make one point very clear. It takes a whole lot of time to see the sort of results you want using farming or the auction house. Both strategies tend to get pretty time consuming. I have some friends that farm for 12 hours a day. Another friend of mine spends 90% of his wow gaming scanning for items in the auction house. |
